This unusual design is reflective of the artists' creative flair. Three views yield three very different moods: one side with colorful round 'botamochi' markings, another with smoke and fire marks and the last, dark with fused ash. The softly rounded yet geometric form is created through the building of clay coils and their transformation in the kiln.
